Bali is an island in Indonesia. There are over a thousand islands in Indonesia, but Bali stands out. The architecture, sites, scents and hospitality of Bali have very distinct qualities that make it one of the most magical places you can visit. In the summer of 2009 I spent 3 months traveling the world. My destinations were very diverse and stretched across 15 countries – from Iceland, to the deserts of the Middle East, to the tropics and major centers of Asia. By the way – the best pork I’ve ever had was in the center of the island in a town called, Ubud (Ibu Oka Babi Guiling – it alone is worth the trip to Bali).
